From Fire to the Prisons # 9
"MARCH 4TH-2010- ARIZONA
It is said that a demonstration occurred at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, a cartoonishly college, college town. Really Phoenix, but primarily built around the Universities. It is said that banners were hung from some of the campus’s main buildings with one reading “Burn the Knowledge Factory.” Although students did march to the school president’s offices, following a temporary scuffle where papers and office equipment were thrown around the room, some students began to negotiate and make demands of the president. With this they encouraged the march to “calm down”. Whether it is words or actual threats, writings have been posted online stating that this is only the beginning and more will be coming in the months to follow. " (Pg. 10).
We don't know who wrote this but we think they did a great job, and we're excited that some of our stuff has been included in the lists of March 4th actions. Fire to the Prisons is one of our favorite publications.
